Invisalign Clear Aligners Dundee
Invisalign® ticks the boxes for patients seeking a discreet and comfortable way to straighten their teeth. Treatment comprises of transparent aligners which are completely custom-made, metal-free, and easy to acclimatise to.
Invisalign® aligners are changed over every 2 weeks at home by you, the patient. As a metal-free and removable teeth straightening system, the Invisalign® process requires fewer check-up appointments than is needed with traditional metal braces. You will also have the opportunity to remove your aligners for up to 2 hours each day.

frequently asked questions
Which is better – braces or Invisalign®?
We recommend Invisalign® for mild and moderate orthodontic abnormalities, and to patients who are confident they will have the discipline to remember to wear their aligners for 22 hours each day. Fixed metal braces are more appropriate for severe cases, and for patients who don’t want the burden of remembering to put their aligners back in after eating and brushing.
Does Invisalign® work permanently?
Dentist-created teeth straightening devices including Invisalign permanently alter the position of your teeth and jaw. However, you will need to wear a retainer after treatment to stop your teeth shifting back into their pre-treatment situation.
Why is Invisalign® less painful than braces?
As there are no metal elements to Invisalign® there is no risk of starching against your gums and mouth. There is also no brace tightening involved, so you will only experience minor tightness when you change each aligner over every 2 weeks.
How much is Invisalign®?
